- Put objects on an infinite canvas
Photos, text, clipart, emoji - they are your building blocks. You can place as many as you like on the canvas. Once there, they can be moved, rotated, scaled and blended together, as well as duplicated, deleted or reordered - using a variety of familiar multi-touch gestures. You can also move around the canvas and transform the entire composition at once.
- Images can take any shape
You are not limited to rectangular shapes: object can take any form, from simple geometric shapes like circles or stars, to complex shapes like blocks of text or hand drawn blobs.
- There are filters, but without presets
Choose from over 50 building blocks to build unique filters that can completely transform each element of your composition. Manipulate colours, distort geometry and emulate art styles - applied one after another, these tools can add style to any image.
- Share just the parts you want
In the end, you will most likely want to create an image - one you can share on Instagram or print out and hang on a wall. With Montage, you have full control over this process. You get to define which part of the composition you wish to export, and you can specify the image format and the exact size of the final image.

Montage app good for
Having no problems at all with this app. Ive been using it for 25 minutes now with no crashes or shutdowns. Using it on an iPad Air 32 GB. Menus and layering work fine after you get used to where all the settings are.
Ive had this app for a long time, and I love it. The only suggestion I have is that you add a feature allowing the user to enter a color code for the canvas solid color!!
Montage is one of the most, if not the most, funkiest photo graphic app out there today.
Its been supported by the dev for a very long time, from back in the days when creative apps were quite experimental, unpolished perhaps but exciting. This app definitely retains that espirit, which could alienate users that are more accustomed to the polished nature of todays apps that strictly adhere to modern UIX rules of user friendliness, but for people who are out on the look for software that can enable producing graphics that no other app can and are willing to figure how it operates, then Montage will provide very nice surprises of high creativity and uniqueness.
As with any graphics app, use it in conjunction with other apps and the outcome is endless (dont expect to conclude your work with only this app).
The sample photos shown in the app description for App Store does great disservice to this softwares credibility, I hope the dev gets rid of them and replaces with graphical work that truly illustrates what this app is capable of.

I loved the app. I usually dont write reviews for apps but I felt I had to I the case that the app only has 4 stars. I would give it a five all the way.! Easy to use, convenient, just what I was looking for, and doesnt crash at all. Many different options like size and shape, text color and style, and the black and white or washed picture looks. Overall 5 stars for sure.
I love this app! I had the lite version for a long time and finally decided to purchase the full version. Im very pleased. Its WAY better than the lite version. Its worth every penny! I was really excited about the update, but I was disappointed that it erased all of my previous work, especially since I did not get warned until it had already happened. Oh, well...Hope the problem gets fixed soon.

Some bad moments
This app does have a good idea to it but it shuts off ever 30 seconds so how am I going to see what else it offers? Untill this problem is fixed dont wast your time or money!
Dont waste your money! This app shuts off every 30 seconds! Very annoying...
Super confusing. Sad I spent $2.00. Perhaps I just need to tamper with it some more; but apps are supposed to make your life easier!
Said it was compatible with iPad but came up like iPhone screen. Nothing worked. Useless! A waste of $2.
I like what Im able to do but you guys seriously need to let us be able to lock the size, location, and/or rotation when you want
Struggling with how to lock rotation and scaling. Touch commands dont feel intuitive and Ive given up in this one as a Goto.
